TALKING POINTS

ATLANTA VS CHELSEA: Chelsea’s 100th away game in European competitions so they would be looking forward getting the 3 points which could be crucial for them to avoid the extra round of knockout stages.Atlanta having lost only one game at home can be a difficult fixture for Chelsea who have been struggling at away ends this season a lot.

Predicted XI: Sanchez, James, Fofana, Chalobah, Cucurella, Caicedo, Fernandez, Neto, Estevao, Garnacho, Pedro

INTER MILAN VS LIVERPOOL: Liverpool head to the San Siro with a lot of internal instability, Salah’s public critique and his broken relationship with the manager making them look far from favourites to win. Inter on the other hand have been one of the top performing teams in Italy this season and will look to take full advantage of Liverpool’s situation and dominate the game. This could be the night where fans begin to seriously question Slot’s future at the club.

Predicted XI: Allison, Bradely, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Isak, Ekitike

SPURS VS SLAVIA PRAHA: Tottenham returned to winning ways on Saturday by beating Brentford 2-0, ending a five-game run without victory and restoring some confidence at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.Slavia Prague arrive in North London still seeking their first win of the league phase after collecting just three points from their opening five group matches.Spurs have beaten Villarreal and Copenhagen without conceding and are now 22 games unbeaten in home European fixtures, a run stretching across multiple campaigns.

Predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Bentancur , Gray; Kudus, Simons, Kolo Muani , Richarlison

CLUB BRUGGE VS ARSENAL: First ever match played between these two so it could be the one where it can mark an historic game. Arsenal who are currently sitting at the top of the table are already through to the RO16.Only concern for them is now their back line which Arteta has to figure out.Brugge away can be a tricky fixture as they managed to drew against Barcelona.

Predicted XI:Raya; Calafiori, Hincapie, Timber, Lewis-Skelly; Zubimendi, Rice, Odegaard; Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, Martinelli

REAL MADRID VS MAN CITY: The highlight game of matchday 6 and almost a compulsory European clash every season, as these two giants keep meeting either in the group stages or in the knockouts. City currently look at their best, recovering strongly after a poor start and getting back to full rhythm, while on the other hand everything seems to be going wrong for Madrid as they look out of shape with no real pattern of play. Sources suggest this could be the match where Xabi Alonso’s future comes under serious threat and he could even be sacked if there is no change, but then again Madrid in the Champions League and especially at the Bernabéu is a different story altogether.

Predicted XI:

MAN CITY: Donnarumma; Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly; Gonzalez; Cherki, Silva, Foden, Doku; Haaland

REAL MADRID: Courtois; Valverde, Asencio, Rudiger, Carreras; Tchouameni, Camavinga; Guler, Bellingham, Vinicius Jr; Mbappe
